Chilcotin Tour Series 2024

Eligibility

• BCRA members must compete in two out of three Chilcotin Series rodeos to qualify for the series year-end awards.

Note: If more rodeos join the series, the required number to compete will increase.

• Events and rodeo rules in the BCRA Rulebook apply to all Chilcotin Series rodeos.
• Communities/Committees with a BCRA first-approved rodeo that are accessed via Highway 20 are eligible to join the tour.
• Timed event cattle will be drawn and chute run only in the Chilcotin Tour Series.

Format & Points

• Points are awarded based on the number of places paid out in each event.
  Example: If 6 places are paid:
  • 1st – 100 points
  • 2nd – 90 points
  • 3rd – 80 points
  • 4th – 70 points
  • 5th – 60 points
  • 6th – 50 points
• If no scores or times are recorded for a place, those remaining points will not be distributed.
• Ties in series points will be broken by total money won in the Chilcotin Series standings.

Awards

• Awards will only be given in events that occur at two (2) out of three (3) Chilcotin Series rodeos.

If more rodeos are added, the required number may increase.

• A first-place award will be presented to each Chilcotin Series Champion in their respective event.
